Become A Leader!

Another step in obtaining new professional skills as well as gaining confidence through leadership is participation as a committee member or chairperson. The newfound traits acquired from active involvement translate into positive career growth.

Choosing to become involved on a committee is a beneficial opportunity to network with fellow members and develop an enhanced understanding of how the chapter operates.

Committee positions are either a one-time commitment or a few hours each month, depending on your interest. After completing a term as a member, why not expand upon this knowledge and leadership potential through assuming a chairperson role?

Serving on a variety of committees is a valuable addition to your resume. Not sure what is involved in volunteering and have questions? Feel free to reach out to Johanna Wiese, President of the Chicago Lake Shore Chapter.
